I am a truth seeker, story teller, and lover of God. I am passionate about knowing God and making Him known. I have lived my entire life in the Northwest, ergo, I appreciate coffee brewed boldly, hikes through the woods, and moments by the ocean. I delight in a well crafted novel, conversations with people that get to the heart of the matter, and the rhythm of a good long run. But most importantly, I long to see the body of Christ wake up to the reality of God in their lives.

As a former English teacher and director of women’s ministry, teaching has always been at the heart of what I do. For twenty years, I have been writing devotionals and bible studies in different capacities for the people in my life, whether for youth or adults. I have also taught in a variety of venues, such as retreats, bible studies, workshops, and conferences.

When I write and teach, I do it from a place of knowing that life is messy and not easy, full of way too many things that can either weigh us down or distract us from what life is all about. But I remain convinced that God has made us, redeemed us, and called us into a life worth living, and He has given us words to life, in His Word, if we’ll settle down long enough to read it. I love helping people read it, and letting the Spirit of God change us from the inside out.
